Coming into relationship with Jesus Christ can be described as a journey. Not just any journey, but the Journey of a Lifetime. There is an old saying which states that a journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. For us at The Family Church this journey of a lifetime is a life long journey. This journey becomes a process in which our heads, our hearts, and our hands are transformed through the Word of God (Bible) and the presence and activity of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

The Call to Come: Matthew 11:28 states, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

The Call to Follow: Matthew 16:24 says, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”

The Call to Go: Matthew 28:19 declares, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…”

God created humanity to be in relationship with Him. Christ reconciled us to God so that we may be in relationship with Him. We are now members of the household (family) of God (Eph. 2:19). We a part of the Family of God and have become the people of God called to be in relationship with Him and with one another. Together we walk this journey of life.

One of our church member's once said, "It's all about family!" You know, I think he is absolutely right. So, go ahead! Take that first step and begin the journey! We'll be there with you along the way, through the good times and even the bad. Christ is calling you to come (Matthew 11:28). Don’t wait. Don’t hesitate. He is calling…respond to Him today!
